(1 July 2011 - Dallas, TX) Dallas' favourite badasses, Texas Hippie Coalition have welcomed new drummer, Tim Braun, to the band. Braun joins the band upon Ryan "The Kid" Bennett's departure on June 30 to join Eye Empire.
"We've been behind 'The Kid' ever since he came on board to help the Hippies out," says frontman BigDad Ritch. "We've appreciated his help and everything he's brought to the band during his time here and there is no doubt that he will go on to be the biggest rockstar of all of us."
Braun, who was actually recommended by Bennett himself is a longtime friend of the THC organization and "is the baddest ass drummer I know of" according to Bennett's Facebook page. "In regards to Tim Braun, we're thrilled to have him with us," continues Ritch. He's been rehearsing with us for the past week and we're not missing a beat."
